Men of national merit resuming ordinary life thanks to the wheelchairs presented by Korea Welfare Services
In celebration of Patriots and Veterans Month last June, Korea Welfare Services waged a fund-raising campaign in tandem with Happybean with the intention of ensuring safe mobility and lessening economic burden for the sake of men of national merit as well as war veterans.
Robust wheelchairs are requisite for those who have difficulty leading their everyday lives because of their advanced ages and disabilities.
Korea Welfare Services purchased 12 wheelchairs each of which was worth approximately 700,000 won with the proceeds from the Happybean donations and delivered them to the senior citizens of national merit.
