The Korea Welfare Services signed an agreement on social contribution activities in 2026 with BAT ROTHMANS and continues various projects this year to support the practical independence of the underprivileged.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will continue their cooperation since 2016 for the 11th year, and will carry out customized support projects to meet changing social needs together.

The center of this year's cooperation is "strengthening the emotional bond of single-parent families" and "establishing a stable living foundation for young people preparing for independence."

First of all, we run a Family Photo Support Program for single-parent families. It is a project designed to present precious memories to families who had difficulty leaving family photos due to economic and time conditions, and to enhance the bond and emotional stability between families. This program was inspired by the "Cheer-up Photo Studio" campaign, which received great response from young people preparing for self-reliance last year.

In addition, for young people preparing for self-reliance, we will conduct a new national "first housekeeping kit" support project.

We will provide food kits for long-term storage and easy cooking, noting one of the biggest difficulties for young people who began to live alone after the end of protection. In particular, we would like to expand the scope of support to the nationwide level to provide more practical help to young people in the welfare blind spot.

The Korea Welfare Services and BAT ROTHMANS have continued various social contribution activities over the past decade to meet the changing times and the needs of applicants.

Starting with the single-parent family self-reliance support project in 2016, it has expanded the scope of support to young people preparing for self-reliance from 2022 and has carried out various activities such as ▲ emergency living and medical expenses support ▲ scholarship support to strengthen employment capabilities ▲ psychological counseling and talk concert operation ▲ support for taking photos of proof for resume.
