Two Sons Continue Their Father’s Warm Legacy of Kindness

On March 10, the family of the late author Dong Guk Seo, including his spouse and two sons, I-jun Seo and I-jeong Seo, attended the ceremony to join the Korea Welfare Services Honors Club as its 33rd members. The late Dong Guk Seo, who actively worked as an author publishing e-books, passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 46 due to cardiac infarction... 

To honor their beloved husband and father, the family donated 5 million won each in the names of his two sons, joining the Honors Club. Despite their deep sorrow, the family chose to carry on their father's warmhearted legacy through this meaningful act of giving. The Korea Welfare Services expressed gratitude and condolences to the family while commemorating the late author together. The donation of 10 million won will be used to support  vulnerable  seniors,  single  mothers  and  other  underprivileged neighbors in need.  

“We joined the Honors Club inspired by our father’s spirit of giving. We hope that our father’s warmth can bring even a small ray of hope to those in need around us. This is not just a donation but a meaningful step to carry forward our father’s love and values,” 

said sons I-jun Seo and I-jeong Seo.
