Sharing Makes Holidays Warmer, Bringing Hope to Our Neighbors
Working alongside leading companies to spend time with various marginalized neighbors
Holidays often amplify feelings of loneliness for the marginalized in our communities. To ensure no one feels left out, various organizations have stepped up to create warm and memorable experiences.
LG Electronics Life’s Good Volunteer Group visited Yeomni Daycare Center for the Challenged to celebrate Lunar New Year. They enjoyed traditional Korean games like Yutnori and cooked Tteokguk (rice cake soup) with the center's disabled users, fostering connection and joy.
S-OIL Employees held activities at Yeomni Commuity Welfare Center, packing 150 holiday necessity kits and serving special meals to underprivileged neighbors as a part of 'Sharing Tteokguk with Love'. They organized traditional games such as Jegichagi and puppet shows, creating a lively atmosphere to alleviate isolation.
In place where the warmth of the season hasn't reached, a caring hand is needed.
