Her 40-Year Educational Philosophy

"Learning to live together in society, not alone, is the most important."

Q. Please tell us about yourself.
A. I am Mi-sook Yun, the director of Kkumae Green Purumi Kindergarten. I will do my best to create a society where we live together helping our neighbors!

Q.  How did you come to be associated with the KWS?
A. My educational philosophy is that it's most important for children to learn about 'living together in society, not alone.' While holding this belief, I had the experience of sharing and caring for neighbors through a flea market, and our relationship began when I donated the proceeds to the KWS.

Q.  What  positive  changes  have  you  seen  in  the children after making the donation?
A. Due to COVID-19, the time for communication with each other had decreased, but through the flea market, we had more time to cooperate and be together. Now, the concept of talent donation to help friends in daily life and further help neighbors seems more familiar. I also see positive changes in efforts to create a cooperative society everywhere.

Q. Do you have any words for students who are hesitant about sponsorship?

A. Even if it's small, it can have a wide impact. If you start first, even if it was a small start, you'll soon be sharing great joy together.

Q. As the president of the sponsorship association, do you have any aspirations or resolutions to share?
A. Most people don't do it because they don't know. If they knew, they could do better. With this concept in mind, I plan to share it broadly! I ask for your support and active participation!
