The story of the President of the Sponsorship Association in Gwangju!
I am trying to return what I received from the relationships.
“Adoption is like holding a bag for a child! To help a child stand up after a fall.”
Q. Please introduce yourself. A. I am Kyeong-seok Ko currently working in the auto repair business in Gwangju and I have four children.
Q. How did you establish a relationship with the Korea Welfare Services? A. I volunteered once a week at the Gwangju Baby’s Reception Home of the Korea Welfare Services and met my daughter there. Through volunteering, I started the sponsorship, adopted my daughter, and continued to have ties with KWS.

Q. Why did you donate about 10 million won to KWS in Gwangju? A. I heard from my wife that the children at a facility in Gwangju need help. I just acted while thinking, "What can I do for them?" I feel rewarded and abundant when I donate. It makes me happy. It also gives joy to people who receive donations.
Q. As the president of the sponsorship association in Gwangju, please share your aspiration or determination. A. To help children who will lead our society, we are thinking about whether there is a way to draw donations. We also want to open an easy way for people to donate.
